Virtual Open House Instructions

Welcome to the virtual open house for the Pulse Memorial Advisory Committee! Here, you will find a virtual replica of the questions posed to the public at an open house(External link)(External link) hosted at the Kia Center on Thursday, July 25, from 6 - 8 p.m. This virtual open house is designed to collect and refine ideas from our community about the Pulse Memorial project. Follow the steps below to share your ideas, comment on others, and upvote suggestions you support.


Check for Existing Ideas

Before submitting a new idea, search the idea board related to each question to see if a similar idea has already been posted:

  • Click on the title of the idea board.
  • Click on the magnifying glass icon to open the "Search" bar and enter keywords related to your idea.
  • Browse through the list of existing ideas to find any that match or closely resemble yours.


Submit a New Idea

If you don’t find an idea similar to yours, you can submit a new one:

  • Click on the “New Post” button.
  • Fill in the "Add your text" and "Add more details" fields with a description of your idea. Be clear and concise.
  • Click “Post” to add your idea to the board.
  • You do not need to list your name next to your idea.
  • Ideas can be posted in English or Spanish.


Comment on Similar Ideas

If you find an idea that’s similar to yours:

  • Click on the idea to view its details.
  • Use the comment section to expand on the idea by clicking the "Add comment" button. Add additional details, suggest improvements, or offer constructive feedback.


Upvote Ideas

Support ideas that you believe are valuable:

  • Click the upvote button (represented by a thumbs-up icon) on any idea you agree with or find promising.
  • Feel free to upvote multiple ideas. The more upvotes an idea gets, the higher its visibility.


Engage with the Community

  • Regularly check the idea board to see new submissions and updates.
  • Participate in discussions by commenting on different ideas.
  • Respectfully interact with others, keeping feedback constructive and positive.
