The City of Orlando Transportation Department is proud to share the 2025 Vision Zero Progress Report, which highlights our collective progress toward creating safer streets and achieving zero traffic deaths and serious injuries.

Since adopting the first Vision Zero Action Plan in 2021, Orlando has made meaningful strides in improving transportation safety citywide. Over the past five years, we’ve seen a 40% decrease in deadly and serious crashes, that’s 56 people who avoided life-altering collisions, enough to fill a city bus! This progress is the result of collaboration, innovation, and a shared commitment to designing streets that work for everyone.

The 2025 Progress Report highlights more than 100 safety projects, both completed and currently underway, that are helping to transform our transportation network. From safer intersections and upgraded crossings to education programs and policy initiatives, these efforts represent our city’s continued commitment to Vision Zero.
