At the December 12, 2024, Pulse Memorial Advisory Council Meeting, design assistants presented a refined design concept for the future memorial. This concept incorporated elements that gained a consensus amongst committee members, survivors and families of the victims. 

The advisory committee would like your feedback on the refined design concept. The committee's vision is to create a memorial honoring the 49 victims, to reflect the themes of sanctuary, tranquility, hope, healing, education, acceptance, love and acknowledging the diverse identities of the victims.

We would like to know: 

• how you feel about the refined design concept as a whole
• does it align with the committee's vision for the memorial
• how you feel about the way designers have depicted the various elements
  
  

We will leave this survey open until January 22, 2025. The next committee meeting will be on February 4, 2025, where they will finalize the design proposal to be shared with the Orlando City Council in early 2025.

En la reunión del Comité Asesor del Monumento Pulse del 12 de diciembre de 2024, los diseñadores presentaron un concepto refinado del futuro monumento. Este concepto incorporó elementos que obtuvieron un consenso entre los miembros del comité, los sobrevivientes y los familiares de las víctimas. 

El Comité Asesor desea conocer su opinión sobre el concepto refinado del diseño. 

Quisiéramos saber: 

• qué le parece el concepto refinado en general
• cumple con la misión del comité para el monumento 
• qué le parece la manera en que los diseñadores han representado los distintos elementos 

La encuesta estará disponible hasta el 22 de enero de 2025. La próxima reunión del comité será el 4 de febrero de 2025, donde se finalizará la propuesta de diseño que será compartida con el Concejo Municipal de Orlando a principios de 2025.

• Questions: The survey includes questions about your personal background, reasons for your interest in the Pulse Memorial project, and any experiences that relate to your participation.

During its November meeting, the Pulse Memorial Advisory Committee worked with design assistants to create initial sketches for the future permanent memorial at the Pulse site. These sketches incorporated elements that gained a consensus amongst the committee, as well as many families of the victims and survivors of the tragedy. 

The advisory committee would like your feedback on the initial sketches. 

In particular, we are hoping to hear from you whether you think the elements depicted honor the victims of the Pulse tragedy and those who survived the attack.  We also want to know whether you think the overall concept aligns with the notion of a peaceful sanctuary that honors the 49 and the survivors and conveys love, hope, acceptance, and resilience. 

During its December meeting, the advisory committee will finalize the design concept and then meet once more in January to finalize the design proposal that will be shared with the Orlando City Council in early 2025.
